About Us
In 1988, Theodore Cantrell was impressed to organize a Committee of 100 for Oakwood College, similar to those at other institutions. He shared the idea with Adell Warren, retired business manager of Oakwood College. The combined energies and administrative abilities of Cantrell and Warren, together with the strong support of William Taylor of Southern Adventist University’s C-100 and those who joined the group, resulted in the Committee of 100 for Oakwood College, Inc. When the college became a university in 2008, the name of this organization was subsequently changed to the Committee of 100 for Oakwood University, Inc. (C-100)
Since its inception, C-100 has generated more than $1 million and established annual scholarships for Oakwood University students.
